We here at the Center for Limnology don’t like to keep people in the dark. That’s what, every year, we host public open houses at both our lab in Madison and our research station in northern Wisconsin. This year, nearly 500 people turned out to tour our labs, talk with our researchers and get a closer look at the plants, bugs, plankton and fish we study here at the CFL. More than 350 of those people came to our open house at Trout Lake Station. Maybe it was the free Babcock Dairy ice cream. Maybe, though, limnology is just that big of a deal in the Northwoods!
We hope to see you in 2014!
