Undergrads: Spend Your Summer Out on Lakes and In The Lab with Us!

Attention Undergrads! See that photo above? That’s how you could spend your evenings this summer after a day’s work on our beautiful lakes!

That’s right, the Center for Limnology is currently hiring for our summer fieldwork season both in Madison at Hasler Lab and up north of Minocqua at Trout Lake Station.

Spend your summer exploring Madison’s lakes or the waters of Wisconsin’s beautiful Northwoods as you get hands-on experience working on research projects ranging from fish ecology to bog microbes to wild rice! Or, if you’re more into the science communication side of things, apply to be a summer scicomm intern.

Come see why so many past summer undergrads call it the “best job they’ve ever had.” Besides, in addition to competitive pay rates, you’ll get great experience for a career in the life sciences.

We are now accepting applications – priority deadline February 15th, but all positions open until filled.

Don’t miss your chance to spend a summer going out on lakes (and rivers, streams, bogs, etc), learning about our invaluable freshwater resources and hanging out with a bunch of fellow undergrads who are, well, in the same boat!

Still not convinced? Don’t take our word for how awesome it is, watch this video to get a glimpse of what life “on station” is like.
